Tamil Teru on Rose Street is bringing the colours and flavours of South India to Edinburgh.
We started with the prawn pepper fry and the poori masala. The prawns were well cooked in their house pepper sauce, and the poori was great with those spiced potatoes. For main we shared the Karaikudi chicken and the paneer butter masala with rice and parotta. The service was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant is really beautiful with painted murals on the wall and a private dining space upstairs.
