If you love Indian flavours, stop scrolling. Bombay Bistro has opened in Bruntsfield with Indian fusion street food and a classic Scottish pub vibe alongside tandoor appetisers and Bombay classics. Chef Mandeep Saini, formerly of Gleneagles and The Berkeley, uses seasonal Scottish ingredients.
The chicken tikka and chicken kali murch were both cooked to perfection in the tandoor. I really loved the Konkan prawn curry with a rich and tangy coconut sauce, and my dad went for a classic lamb rogan josh. I'd highly recommend the chilli naan on the side. A great new opening for Bruntsfield.
