If their bathroom is paying you compliments, they've got stunning interiors and they're serving up gorgeous plates, then you know they're worth a visit. I finally got round to checking out Barry Fish at The Shore and popped in for an early dinner.
Of course we added the Cumbrae oysters, then the dill pickled Orkney herring and their signature Barry Fish pastrami. For main neither of us could resist the hake with pomme purée and a rich Grenobloise sauce, cooked to absolute perfection. We finished with a lemon meringue cream and the cheese plate. A gorgeous wee spot and I won't leave it as long until my next visit.
