If you haven't been to Old Pal yet, take this as your sign. They have a brand new food menu and they make some of my favourite cocktails in town.

We started very strong with small plates to share, the rich steak tartare with crisps and a quail's egg, and the Korean BBQ boneless ribs with the most delicious pineapple kimchi. For mains Rob went for the pulled lamb Massaman curry with a lamb lollipop, and I tried the sweet and spicy baby aubergines with a sticky glaze. The cocktails are a 10 out of 10 and the food lives up to it. A perfect spot for date night and mate dates alike.
