I have found another great sandwich spot. Cafe Cor'Stone in Corstorphine has bagels, toasties and huge focaccia sandwiches, alongside sweet treats, fresh pastries and great coffee.
The focaccia sandwiches are made fresh to order at the counter. Rob went for the Signature with pastrami, roast beef and parma ham, and I tried the Parma Rustico with parma ham, mozzarella, tomato and pesto. The pastries range from savoury Greek pies to sweet almond croissants, and I can highly recommend the Banana Split Cake. A lovely wee spot on St John's Road, open daily from 9am to 5pm.
