As a huge fan of the Sunday roast I do not make this claim lightly, but I think there may be a new contender for Edinburgh's best Sunday roast. Lennox has recently opened in Edinburgh's West End, with an ethos of unapologetic, indulgent cooking.
The perfectly pink treacle dry aged striploin is the star, with mac and cheese with 'nduja, an oxtail ragù stuffed yorkie, garlic duck fat roast potatoes and a bone marrow and charcuterie gravy, all for £35. Save room for the smoked banana custard tart with rum and raisin. This roast has got to be on your must visit list.
