If you're serious about fire cooked meats, Temper is one of those places that never disappoints. A live fire steakhouse and smokehouse with an open kitchen, where you see the fire, the smoke and the craft. We visited the City branch, dark, chic and atmospheric.
The tacos are incredible, with the soft shell crab a real highlight, and the on the bone Porterhouse and the fillet are cooked to perfection over open fire. Do not skip dessert, the brigadeiro skillet cookie is one of the best I've had recently.
