The Alpaca in Islington has teamed up with its next-door neighbour, the legendary fishmonger Steve Hatt, for a special seafood menu, and I absolutely loved it. Steve Hatt has been part of the community since 1895, and you can really taste the care.
We had the streaky bacon and scallop roll with nduja butter, the nduja langoustine tails, mussels in cider and a Dorset lemon sole with shrimp butter that was the star. Proper pub atmosphere and very reasonable prices for the quality.
