In the heart of Chinatown, just moments from Leicester Square, Joy King Lau is a true London institution serving authentic Cantonese food and dim sum since the late 1970s. Spread across several floors and always buzzing, no frills, just consistently good food.
We tried mostly the dim sum menu, with dishes between £5 and £6: king prawn dumplings, roast pork cheung fun, egg custard tart and Singapore style fried vermicelli. Quick, friendly service and incredible value for central London.
