We visited the BAO branch at Borough Market, with a stronger focus on grilled dishes, and it reminded me why BAO has been a staple for me since their early days at Netil Market. Each branch has its own personality and exclusive dishes.

We went for the Best of BAO set menu, £25 and genuinely excellent value: fried Taiwanese chicken, the classic beef short rib bao, the curry cheese croquette bao exclusive to Borough, grilled prawn and the 40 day aged beef steak. And the BAONUT for dessert, one you think about afterwards.
