Already found the best restaurant of 2026. Materia is a fine dining restaurant in Zurenborg with a strong focus on Italian cuisine, in a dark, mysterious yet intimate atmosphere where chefs regularly finish dishes at the table.
The menu is fully seasonal, with huge respect for the product and a clear focus on avoiding waste, and the chef came to our table several times to explain their philosophy. We had 13 courses paired with Italian wines. The menu is €127 with a wine pairing of €71, and the truffle pasta, their signature dish, was a highlight.
