One of Antwerp's first Japanese restaurants, and still one of the best. Minato has been a quiet staple for years, with dark wood, beautiful ceramics and a counter with the fresh fish of the day.
The chef is Japanese, trained in Japan, and you can watch him handroll the sushi à la minute. The sushi assortiment Chu (€39) was incredibly fresh and the unadon (€36), a rice bowl with eel, deeply satisfying. For me this is one of my fav Japanese restaurants.
