A small family-run spot bringing Afghan cuisine to Antwerp. You might know Mantu from the market, but they also have their own restaurant in the centre.
Everything is homemade: the mother creates the recipes and prepares the dishes herself, and the rest of the family is just as present. The menu is small, which I always appreciate. The steamed mantu dumplings with yoghurt sauce (€12) were my absolute favourite, and the banjan burani eggplant (€8) is by far my fav Afghan dish, try it.
