Alto 19 has just opened on the 19th floor of Locke in Canary Wharf, from the group behind Lina Stores, and the interiors are just as good as the views.
The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, with simple dishes done well. The black Angus sirloin with salsa verde was juicy, but the porcini ravioli in parmesan fonduta with truffle shavings was the unexpected standout for me. The cocktails are worth checking out, and obviously you can't leave without the tiramisu.
