The amount of food we got at Ninety-Nine Bar and Kitchen was ridiculous. We started with the wild mushroom arancini and the short rib arancini, and the short rib ones were an absolute standout, I'd go back for those alone.

Then came a chicken, chorizo and black pudding pizza cooked in their proper pizza oven, and a huge bowl of prawn pasta with tomato and chilli. The portions were massive, the cocktails were great, the atmosphere was warm and cosy, and I also learned the building was once home to Aberdeen's Society of Advocates.
