POV: you're trying to film a Scottish castle and Scotland has other ideas. Once I'd won the battle with the wind, I got to explore Braemar Castle, tucked away in the heart of Royal Deeside.
Built in 1628, it has been a hunting lodge, a military garrison and a family home, with every room telling a different part of its story. And yes, I accidentally matched the famous pink room. It's well worth adding to your list if you're exploring Royal Deeside.
