We popped along to Whirlybird on Victoria Street, a stone's throw from the Royal Mile, with huge portions and perfect quality.
We had whipped crowdie with heritage radish, an east coast seafood chowder, chargrilled chicken with sourdough and feta, a Highland wagyu burger and date and brown butter madeleines to finish. A delicious lunch, well worth a visit.
