Not craving a heavy roast every weekend? Sundays at Crispin are the perfect alternative, a seasonal set menu and exactly the kind of long lunch we needed.
The cultured butter with the sourdough and the cheddar croquettes were a strong start, I could have eaten five of those croquettes. The main event was braised lamb with tropea onion and crispy potatoes, so tender it melts in your mouth. We finished with a warm brown butter cake with poached apricot.
