I really don't understand why more people aren't talking about Calabria and Tropea. After spending time in Calabria this summer, I absolutely loved this little town perched above the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea.
The beaches, the sunsets, the food and the charming little streets, it has everything I love about Southern Italy. Tropea is known as the Pearl of Calabria, but to me Calabria as a whole still feels surprisingly underrated, especially compared to Amalfi, Positano or Capri.
