I think I found one of Italy's best-kept secrets. Camogli is famous for its colorful waterfront, authentic Ligurian charm, crystal-clear water, fresh seafood and a relaxed atmosphere without the crowds.
Stroll along the colorful harbor, relax on the beach, visit the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta and walk to Castello della Dragonara. From here you can also take a boat to San Fruttuoso. From Milan it's about 2 hours by car or by direct train.

- Victorino Anguera: Two hours from Milan by direct train, that's an easy day trip.
