Updown Farmhouse is a lunch worth leaving London for. Set just outside Deal in Kent, it's one of those places that feels like spring, everything light, fresh and properly seasonal.
We started with scallops with chilli and garlic, then veal with morels and wild garlic, and poussin with nduja, all so so good.
