Vinette, Edinburgh

Vinette is a gorgeous Parisian inspired restaurant on Broughton Street and definitely one to add to your list. The bread course was absolutely unreal, warm fresh bread with the saltiest butter.

We started with the Baron Bogor crumpet and the poached pear, artichoke and walnut starter, both really light but packed with flavour. I'd heard so much about the burger and it did not disappoint, the sirloin was cooked to perfection and the chips were so crispy. Make sure you head downstairs to Vivien for a cocktail, the Peach Please was so interesting.

  • Antonio Sánchez: I'd go downstairs for the Peach Please afterwards.
