One of the best hidden gems in Yorkshire. Vault Bistro in Penistone serves seasonal plates made for sharing, coming as and when they're ready.
The grilled black tiger prawns were juicy with just the right amount of spice and a mountain of garlic, and the burrata with heritage tomatoes was simply delicious. The Peruvian chicken supreme was charred to perfection on a moreish aji verde sauce, and the pistachio crusted cod loin simply melted. Finish with the poached pear and mascarpone. Well made cocktails, a warm team and a speakeasy too.
