The hottest new restaurant in Sheffield has finally arrived and it's everything we hoped for and more. Trattoria Maria is inspired by Italian trattorias and southern European cooking, with the kitchen already a well oiled machine in the open kitchen.

We love tactile dining, and from mixing the wild garlic tagliatelle to mopping up ricotta and huge fresh herbs, the whole meal was a foodie's dream. A relaxed but sharp dining space with a passionate team and the best produce, exactly what the city centre has been crying out for.
