A taste of Kolkata in the heart of London. It was a pleasure meeting co-owner Anjan at Chourangi, who explained the inspiration behind the menu and showed us how the tiger prawn malai curry is made.
The food was absolutely incredible and packed with authentic flavours. We had the beetroot chop, Tangra chilli chicken, a chicken kathi roll, Calcutta fish fry and a thali with tiger prawn malai curry and railway lamb curry. A wonderful introduction to the culinary heritage of Eastern India.
