Taste of Mom's
Por Mira Shah ·

Some places you remember because of how the food made you feel.
In the stone streets of Göreme we found a little kitchen where the recipes aren't written down, they're passed from mother to daughter and made the way they've always been made. I watched her roll the dough, shape it by hand and cook it right in front of me. No fancy presentation, no shortcuts, just generations of Turkish home cooking.
Sometimes the most memorable meals aren't the ones served in fancy restaurants. They're the ones that feel like home.

- Luis Martín Blanco : Recipes passed from mother to daughter and dough rolled in front of you, that's my kind of meal.
