This might be the most fairytale like place in Slovenia.
Velika Planina is all tiny wooden shepherd huts, endless green meadows and mountain views that don't even look real. And the best part is that it's actually pretty easy to get to: from Ljubljana towards Kamnik, on to Kamniška Bistrica, then the cable car up and a chairlift or a walk to the plateau.
