Have we just discovered our new favourite Italian in Cardiff? A Pin of Salt sits towards the Newport Road end of City Road, a cosy, warm and inviting spot that opened this summer.
The parma ham and burrata and the arancini bolognese were top notch. We loved the seafood risotto and the paccheri with pork rib and Italian sausage ragu, and the huge tiramisu blew us away. It's not glaringly obvious from outside, but it might just be your new go-to, and there's free parking after 6 on the street opposite.
