We were delighted to be invited back to Workhorse on Cowbridge Road to try their cold cut bagels and showstopping specials.
The Reuben with braised ox tongue was immense, and the ox tongue made a fantastic pastrami sub. The Bourdain, with mortadella, mozzarella, garlic confit and crispy onions, is a corker, and the daily special Silly Me with salami, salsa verde and lemony ricotta is powerful stuff. We can't recommend this Cardiff independent enough, and it's dog and baby friendly too.
