Day off, another Glasgow West End lunch spot. This time I tried Homemade in Partick. They do soups, cakes and coffee, but I was there for the sandwiches.

I went for two. The Frida, with panko chicken, guacamole mayo, pepper jack cheese and jalapeño hot sauce, was warm, cheesy and seriously messy. But the Spicy Italian, with mortadella, salami, scamorza and Calabrian chilli mayo, was the winner for me.
