This cultural complex, designed by the American architect Peter Eisenman, comprises the Gaiás Centre Museum, the Library and Archive of Galicia, the Entrepreneurship Centre, the Hejduk Towers, the CINC Building – dedicated to new technologies – and the Fontán Building, a leading centre for heritage research and studies.
Situated on the summit of Mount Gaiás in Santiago de Compostela, a World Heritage City, the complex is set within the Forest of Galicia, a green space featuring beautiful viewing points, children’s play areas and paths for walking and sporting activities.
The Cidade da Cultura hosts exhibitions, concerts and performing arts shows for audiences of all ages, as well as other events focusing on technology, entrepreneurship and research.
The venue is a landmark of contemporary architecture in northern Spain and offers visitors the chance to enjoy creativity and nature in a stunning setting.
