Iglesia de San Clemente de Taüll, Lleida

San Clemente de Taüll forms part of the group of Romanesque churches in La Vall de Boí, which was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.

The church was built between the 11th and 12th centuries and was consecrated in 1123. It has a basilica-style layout, with three naves separated by columns.

The chancel features three apses with arcades; the bell tower is square in plan and has six storeys, with Lombard-style decoration and mullioned windows. The murals in the chancel (the Pantocrator, Saints and Apostles, scenes from the Old and New Testaments, and from the Apocalypse) date from 1123.

Copies of the paintings are on display in the church; the originals are housed in the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC).
