Valencia’s Central Market covers more than 8,000 square metres and comprises two storeys, characterised by an eclectic pre-modernist style. Its striking roof consists of original domes and sloping roofs at varying heights, whilst the interior is clad in a variety of materials such as iron, wood, ceramics and polychrome tiles.

The beauty of the building is particularly enhanced by the light that filters in through various points in the roof and the coloured stained-glass windows.
