Tabakalera is a major centre dedicated to contemporary culture which opened in 2015, making use of the refurbished premises of the former tobacco factory in Donostia-San Sebastián. It houses several temporary exhibition spaces, including the Kutxa Kultur Artegunea, which focuses particularly on art from Gipuzkoa.
In addition, Tabakalera hosts workshops and spaces for a wide range of disciplines, including cinemas, TV studios, auditoriums, classrooms, creative laboratories, spaces for meetings and debate, cafés, restaurants, and more.
