Opened in 1910, the museum is situated in Toledo’s Jewish Quarter. The site comprises two buildings: a 16th-century house with a courtyard, and an extension dating from the early 20th century, which are connected by a garden.
Inside, there is an exhibition of numerous works by El Greco, particularly from the later period of this artistic genius, as well as paintings by other Spanish artists from the 16th and 17th centuries, furniture from the same period and pottery from Talavera de la Reina.
