In eastern Andalusia, between the provinces of Granada and Almería, lies this protected area, home to many of mainland Spain’s highest peaks. Its mountains stretch for 80 kilometres, alongside the multitude of rivers and streams that bring this region to life.

Inhabited for over 2,000 years, the Sierra Nevada is the perfect place for nature and human life to coexist in the high mountains.
