Cueva de los Verdes

It is situated in the north of Lanzarote and forms part of a system of underground tunnels some 6 km long. The caves and galleries were formed during the volcanic eruption of Monte de La Corona. In 1964, a 2-kilometre-long visitor route was established. Good lighting lends a theatrical effect to this natural monument.
