These are buildings of vernacular Gothic origin. Some original features have been preserved in the section that houses the Museum of Spanish Abstract Art. The interior features an abundance of wooden elements. The Renaissance-style façade comes from an old palace in Villarejo de la Peñuela. The building known as the Casa de la Sirena houses a restaurant inside.
