Por Spain ·

This square was established in the 12th century to host an annual fair that attracted large crowds. During the 15th century, it was enclosed by arcades supported by stone pillars and semicircular arches. It is one of the largest squares in Spain. One of its most important entrance gates is the Arco de la Estrella, built by Manuel de Lara y Churriguera.
