In the Rías Baixas, you need only travel six kilometres from the city of Pontevedra to reach the village of Combarro.

Combarro’s old town, designated a Site of Cultural Interest, is a fine example of three traditional Galician architectural features: the hórreos, the fishermen’s houses and the stone crosses.
