Estadio Santiago Bernabéu
Estadio Santiago Bernabéu · Madrid
Por Spain ·

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is the home ground of Real Madrid’s football team and offers tours of its facilities, including the changing rooms, the trophy room and the VIP box, for example.
The stadium was opened in 1947 under the name Nuevo Estadio Chamartín. Its current name honours Santiago Bernabéu, who served as the club’s president for 35 years.
Following several refurbishments, it is now a world-class stadium and holds UEFA’s highest accreditation, Category 4. It is the second-largest football stadium in Spain in terms of capacity, with room for over 80,000 spectators.
A tour of the stadium gives visitors access to Real Madrid’s well-stocked trophy room, allows them to enter the presidential box, walk through the technical area and visit the away team’s changing room. In addition, the venue features several restaurants, a large club shop and a shopping area.
