mywolly is a service of mywolly Global SL (tax ID B25916404, Spain), the data controller. This policy explains what data we process, why, and your rights.

Data we process

• Account: name, username, email and password (encrypted). If you sign in with Apple or Google, the data those services share when you authorize it.
• Content you publish: photos, videos, text and the place you choose for each post. Posts are visible to other users according to the visibility you pick.
• Device location (only with your permission): to center the map, suggest nearby places and, if you enable it, notify you when you travel. We do not use it in the background.
• Home city (optional): the city you set as your base. We store the city, not an address.
• Notifications (only if you enable them): the technical device identifier needed to deliver them.
• Photo library: access is used solely so you can choose what to publish; nothing is uploaded without your action.

Why we use it

To provide the service (showing your content on the map, your profile and others'), to send the notifications you enable, and to keep the platform safe. The legal basis is the performance of the service you request and, for location and notifications, your consent, which you can withdraw in your device settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we show no ads. We rely on technical providers that process data on our behalf: platform hosting (Railway), photo and video storage (Cloudflare), maps (Google Maps and Mapbox) and notification delivery (Expo, Apple and Google).

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you delete it, we delete your account and your content. You can delete your account in the app or by writing to us.

Your rights

You may access, rectify, erase, export your data and object to processing (GDPR). The app includes a full data export and account deletion. For any request: [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Minimum age

mywolly is not directed at children under 16.

If we change this policy, the current version and its date will be published here.
