The Cité de l'architecture & du patrimoine is housed in the Palais de Chaillot, on the Trocadero square in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, and offers a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower.
The Cité houses a museum, a library, an auditorium, a school for architects, a specialized bookshop and a restaurant. 22,000m², entirely dedicated to architecture and urban planning, to discover, look at, learn, understand and stroll around.
La Cité offers a unique experience: a 1h30 tour of France's finest buildings and structures, from the Middle Ages to the present day. A collection of models and life-size reproductions; a museum of architecture in 3D!
The Cité de l'Architecture & du Patrimoine features three galleries showcasing the permanent collections: the gallery of life-size casts; the gallery of paintings and stained-glass windows; and the gallery of models of modern and contemporary architecture.
