Arab World Institute, Paris

A cultural bridge between France and the Arab world. The Arab World Institute was founded in 1987 by France and the member states of the Arab League to promote and share Arab culture in all its forms.

A true hub for encounters and exchange, it has been helping to strengthen cultural, political, economic, and social ties between France and the Arab world for 30 years. A rich and varied program in a world-renowned building.

Featuring a museum, spaces for temporary exhibitions, an auditorium hosting performances, film screenings, and conferences, a media library, a center for languages and civilizations, a bookstore and gift shop, and prestigious reception spaces, the IMA building was designed by Jean Nouvel and Architecture Studio. Located in the heart of historic Paris, it is recognized worldwide as a symbol of contemporary architecture.
