The Musée de Cluny, Musée National du Moyen Âge is located in the heart of Paris. The museum is located on the site of the ancient thermal baths, don't miss the spectacular frigidarium with its 14m-high vaults, and in the medieval mansion of the abbots of Cluny, a jewel of the flamboyant Gothic style.
Since 2018, a new pavilion welcomes visitors in a resolutely contemporary architecture. Nearly 1,600 masterpieces of medieval art are presented in a chronological tour spanning more than 1,000 years of history.
Among the jewels in the museum's collections are the famous Lady and the Unicorn tapestries, the heads of the Kings of Judah from Notre-Dame Cathedral and stained glass windows from the Sainte-Chapelle, as well as one of the finest collections of Limousin enamel.
