At Motonosumi-jinja Shrine, 123 crimson torii gates stretch along the rugged coastline, creating a breathtaking contrast against the deep blue ocean. As you walk beside the gates, surrounded by sea breeze, crashing waves, and endless ocean views, the scenery feels almost all-encompassing — as though you’ve stepped directly into the landscape itself. On select days, you can even walk beneath the torii gates.
